Sports and Games

In our college we give maximum attention to the development of our student's personality. We try to awaken public mind, soul and body and guide them in their daily life. A sound mind in a sound body is an old saying. In order to prove this proverb we have sport and games period in our college. The students take part actively under the guidance of a well-trained physical director. When they play, all the parts of their bodywork actively, the blood circulation is improved so that they always feel young and energetic. Apart from that when they play in a group, team spirit, co-operation, adjustment, tolerance and such good qualities are developed in them automatically and their friendship is thickened. The aim of having physical education in our college is to create an environment that will promote the physical, emotional, social and moral development of the youth and we are successful in this aspect.

Seminars

The Motto of our Institution is Arise! Shine! It is our responsibility to provide adequate opportunity for our students to attain the Motto of college. We are very much concerned with the intellectual development of our students. Seminar helps them as a store house of knowledge. Having this as main objective we arrange seminars to widen the knowledge of the students. We invite resource person to present seminars on subject oriented as well as life-oriented topics. The experiences gained by the students will be surely fruitful which leads to the all-round development of their personality.

Scout

Every year we organize scouts and guides camp for our students. Scout is exclusively for boys and guide for girls. We put our effort to arrange this camp for ten days in order to train them how to adjust with all type of situations. We call experts in the same field and they give training in physical exercise, health habits, first and safety education, doing useful things out of waste material and various other activities. It emphases there team spirit, adjustment, co-operation, time management, punctuality, and tolerance and so on. Cultural programmers are conducted to bring out talents among students. On the day, of the closing ceremony, will be conducted with campfire and the students are awarded with certificates. With the help of this type of programmers the national feeling is developed among the students. It enables them to responsible citizens of the nation.

Clubs

We offer the student teachers an opportunity for specialization which they do not have in their class room. We have formed “Clubs” for all the subjects. Clubs are meant for giving chance for students to expose their hidden talents. Clubs are involved in updating the knowledge of students in their respective fields of learning through field things discussion an amount, topics and projects. Special lecture by experts and quiz programme Teachers are usually the advisors of the clubs.
